Accelerated Reader is a programme used by our school to monitor and track the progress of pupils reading. It helps us to assess pupils reading level, suggest titles of books at that level, and then assess the pupils comprehension of the book by asking a series of quiz questions.
AR (Accelerated Reader) BookFinder is an online tool which can be used by parents (and pupils) to check whether any book is on the Accelerated Reader scheme and, if it is, what level that book it. This is a useful tool and can be used by parents before buying new books to make sure that they are an appropriate level for their child or by pupils to create a list of books, at an appropriate level, that they would be interested in reading. Click on the link above to take you to AR BookFinder.
